CUB SCOUT PACK 180

Webelos Overnights

Participation in an overnight camp experience or day hike is one of the requirements for earning the Arrow of Light award. The policy of the Boy Scouts of America is to encourage Webelos Scouts to take part in several overnight camping trips.

Pack 180 usually organizes Webelos overnights each year. While these tend not to be as rugged and pioneering as Boy Scout camps, the cooperation of parents is essential. Each Webelos Scout who participates in an overnight must be accompanied by his adult partner.

Much as we might want to be able to invite older or younger siblings to attend, our focus of attention needs to be on our Webelos Scouts so that the overnights can be both a fun and learning experience. For this reason, participation is limited to Webelos Scouts and their adult partners.
